These two words are not your friends:

Contentment & Complacency
Contentment is a state of happiness and satisfaction. Complacency is a feeling of smug or uncritical satisfaction with oneself or one’s achievements.
When you’re a writer, these words are dangerous.

  1. How very true! What's that saying about the shark and having to keep swimming? To play the game, you have to stay in the game.
