I waited a while to see this. I had a chance once–it was in Los Angeles at the end of my book tour for Sky Blue. I only saw the opening minutes before falling asleep. I’ve heard a lot of this soundtrack and have seen bits and pieces of the film, but I finally saw it all. And I adored it. In a thousand ways. It’s simple the way an elderly woman at the checkout counter is simple. It’s got such a wealth of material in it. And for an author and creative soul like myself, it was absolutely beautiful. It felt like drinking a pint by the fire on a cold winter’s night. That’s exactly what it was. It moved me and let go of some of the emotions I’ve been holding back for sometime.

They have pints?! Did the old lady at the checkout counter put that in a paper bag for you?
Anyway, I’ve never heard of ‘Once’, being thousands of miles away from home as I am, but the picture and the title and now your post has my interest piqued.
