Hey Travis,
Just found your blog and thought I’d start at the beginning. Let’s see, I love the journey metaphor–I’ve been writing on that myself in a different genre. I really appreciate the allusions in this first post and wanted you to know that they didn’t go unnoticed. Clearly, you’re a Steve Miller Band sort of guy… “I’m novelist, and a father, and a husband, and a man, and a dreamer, and many other things.” The many other things must include these: “I’m a picker, I’m a grinner, I’m a lover, and I’m a sinner… I’m a joker, I’m a smoker, I’m a midnight toker.” So obviously you’re a space cowboy and your journey is taking you to where you can “play your music in the sun.” Looking forward to the rest of your blog, friend.
